Camp Overlook is owned and operated by the United Methodist Church. Non-United Methodist groups are welcome to
use the facilities. Reservations may be made a year in advance, but can only be confirmed for non-United Methodists six months prior to the event. Should such a group be “bumped”, every effort will be made to switch to a satisfactory date or a full refund will be provided. Non-United Methodist groups conducting events on the same corresponding dates for three years will be guaranteed their dates and facility from year to year.
Fee Schedule: Regular Rate Discounted United Methodist Rate
One Night $ 30 per person per night $ 28 per person per night
Two Nights $ 40 per person for weekend $ 38 per person for weekend
Extra Nights $ 18 per person per 3rd or more nights $ 12 per person per 3rd & more nights
Minimum for the building equals rate for 16 people Minimum for building equals rate for 16 people
10% Discount when your group completes the cleaning checklist
All groups are expected to return furniture and equipment to their original places in the building.
Up to a 10% discount can be refunded to groups who satisfactorily complete the cleaning checklist.
Cleaning Checklist
First Deposit: ½ the minimum fee is due with your contract within 3 weeks of making your reservation. Deposits are necessary and non-refundable. In the process of holding facilities for one group, we turn others away.
Second Deposit: The balance of your minimum fee is required 90 days prior to the event. Your contact person will
receive a bill from the camp and the payment will be credited toward the total bill. Lodging fees above the minimum and any program fees, etc. will be computed at the retreat.
Seminar Fees:
Groups can make use of these facilities to hold a day event. Swank Retreat is generally not available on weekends. Swank Memorial Retreat $100.00 per day
